Born from a shared passion for helping small and start-up companies thrive, SWIM combines decades of experience building and supporting early-stage and small firms to provide targeted services to the life sciences, health, and wellness industry.

After years of working side-by-side, Tisha and Lauren recognized a pattern of needs consistent with many companies they worked with, andthey decided to form a boutique-style firm purpose-built to deliver targeted, high-impact support where traditional roles fall short.

Tisha Templeton

Founder & CEO

Tisha is a highly accomplished executive with over thirty years of experience specializing in the development and implementation of corporate systems that drive organizational growth and efficiency. Her expertise encompasses administrative, accounting, and finance systems, along with the structure and execution of operational procedures, human resource and benefit program administration, and infrastructure building.

Tisha has a proven track record of assisting entrepreneurs in start-up activities and running operational teams across diverse industries. Her background includes designing and implementing accounting systems, software platform policies and procedures, marketing plans, brand collateral, and infrastructure tools for a multinational pharmaceutical corporation, a biotechnology firm, and numerous start-up companies. She has been crafting impactful business and marketing plans for over 25 years.

As a fractional Chief Operating Officer, Tisha leads the adaptation, integration, and implementation of enterprise resource management systems to optimize communication and operational efficiency. Her strategic vision has been instrumental in developing and launching new program lines, facilitating enhanced operational tracking and team training.

In addition to SWIM, she has held a long-term tenure as Senior Vice President of Finance and Operations of a strategic regulatory consulting firm serving the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, where she directs company-wide initiatives in project management, finance, and business development. Significant projects include establishing a Project Management Office (PMO) to streamline service delivery, building the electronic submission department and its associated procedures, and transitioning the company to comprehensive project accounting systems, which significantly improve financial tracking and reporting.

Ms. Templeton’s extensive career includes roles as Vice President of Finance and Operations, Senior Director of Finance and Operations, and Director of Finance and Operations, where she consistently expanded team capabilities, implemented efficient policies and IT processes, developed internal Regulatory Operations departments, coordinated secure server systems, and created client-centric marketing tools.

Tisha holds a Regulatory Affairs Certificate in Medical Devices & Pharmaceuticals from the RAPS Institute, a Diploma with Honors in Essential Oils from the American College of Healthcare Sciences, and studied Accounting at Orange Coast College. In addition to her expertise in operations, Tisha is also a lifestyle coach who helps people achieve their ultimate health goals.

Lauren Mages

Founder & President

Lauren is a seasoned sales and marketing professional with a proven track record of building brand visibility, breaking sales records, developing strategic content, creating and managing successful and high-impact events. With broad experience across national and international markets, Mrs. Mages has successfully led Business-to-Business Sales initiatives across various life sciences sub sectors.     ,.    

For the past 9 years, Mrs. Mages has worked for a strategic regulatory and product development consulting firm servicing the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry driving lead generation, elevating social media presence, and helping prequalify potential pharmaceutical, biotech and med tech customers. Known for her ability to forge and sustain meaningful business relationships, she excels at cold outreach, in-person networking, and executing targeting marketing strategies.

Mrs. Mages has a BBA in Marketing with a minor in Biology from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, and completed an International Business program from Griffith University in Queensland, Australia. She also holds a Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) from the Regulatory Affairs Certificate in Medical Devices & Pharmaceuticals from the RAPS institute.

In addition to her professional work, Mrs. Mages is committed to giving back. She has served as a Recruiter with the Wounded Warrior Project, helping military veterans build their resumes and professional networks. She has also been a Guest Speaker for Women in BIO, where she supports and empowers women in the life sciences industry.
